Responsibility details are not available.
This is a demanding resin kit with photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale from LZ models, intended for experienced modelers. The subject is the American towed LeTourneau CarryAll LS earthmoving scraper used by the US Army. The kit combines resin parts with photo-etched parts, wire and cable; the elaborate cable control system makes the build more demanding but rewarding. The model is an excellent companion to towing tractors and to dioramas of engineer work.
The LeTourneau CarryAll scraper was typical American earthmoving equipment; the LS version was introduced around 1940 and was built for many years. The machine was towed behind a tractor and served for cutting, carrying and spreading soil. During the Second World War it helped to build roads and airfields and to shape terrain, including work on beaches and bridgeheads.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); bend the photo-etched parts on a bending tool. Assemble the cable controls carefully according to the instructions. Protect your airways while sanding. After the base primer, paint with an airbrush and bring out the metal surfaces and the blade with paint chipping, a wash and pigments; a mud and dust patina will underline what the machine does.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
