The US Camp War Memorial is a resin diorama accessory in 1:35 scale representing a field memorial from the setting of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Responsibility details are not available.
The diorama accessory captures an improvised memorial of the kind soldiers built in field camps to honor their fallen comrades. The assembly usually combines a helmet, a rifle, boots and a nameplate into a symbolic composition. It is a scenic element, not a kit of a vehicle.
A field memorial of this type belongs to the period of the deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. In a diorama it creates a strong narrative point around which a scene with figures and hardware can be built.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Spray the base with a primer. Accentuate the metal parts of the helmet and the weapon with a wash and work up the plate and the text with drybrushing so that the lettering and the wear come out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Figures, hardware, glue and paints are not included in the package.
