Vickers 6-Ton Alt B Early 1:35 (CAMs) — an injection-molded plastic kit of the interwar light tank with the welded turret.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Vickers 6-Ton light tank in the Alt B version (single-turret) of early production, with the welded turret, in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer CAMs (Combat Armour Models). The package contains plastic parts and photo-etched accessories. The kit captures one particular subversion of the real subject, so it holds to the facts of this kit rather than to a general idea of the type.
The Vickers 6-Ton (Mark E) was a British commercial light tank of the end of the 1920s, which did not make its way into the British army itself but was taken in large numbers by foreign armies. It influenced a range of further designs and served in the forces of several states in its export form. The Alt B version had a single turret with a gun (unlike the twin-turret Alt A with machine guns); the early vehicles differed in the form of the turret and in details of the hull.
Put the running gear with its leaf springs and the lower hull together first, and close up the superstructure only afterwards. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and bend the fine photo-etched parts with tweezers. Apply a primer and spray the interwar shade with an airbrush according to the operator you have chosen. Bring the riveted and welded surfaces out with a dark wash and add dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
