Workshop workbench 1:35 from the maker Aber. A diorama accessory for field workshops, garages and repair scenes - it is neither a model of a vehicle nor a tool for the modeler.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Aber. It represents a workshop bench, that is the kind of workbench that belongs in a field repair shop, a garage or a maintenance hall. Beware of a mix-up: this is neither a tool for the modeler nor a work surface for your own desk, but a miniature of a workbench in 1:35 scale, which is built and painted like any other element of a scene.
A workbench is one of the most rewarding elements of a diorama with military vehicles. It explains at once what is going on in the scene - the vehicle is under repair, the crew is at work, tools and dismounted parts lie around. Set figures around it, add a vise, wrenches, cans or a road wheel that has been taken off, and the scene gets a story. It comes into its own in workshop interiors, under shelters and in outdoor field repair shops.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard support; never break them out by twisting. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a primer according to the material. A workbench looks convincing only once it is worn: you will imitate a wooden top by drybrushing a lighter shade over a darker base, rub the metal frame down with graphite and add oil stains with gloss or with a dark wash. Irregular smears and worn spots around the vise will do the most work.
This is a diorama accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints, figures and a base are not included in the package.
