A detail set in turned metal containing 8 barrels of 36 cm/45 (356 mm) caliber in 1:350 scale. It covers the Vickers type and the 41st Year Type, which the Imperial Japanese Navy used as its main armament. It is not a ship model but accurate metal replacements for the barrels of the gun turrets.
The gun of 36 cm/45 caliber made up the main armament of the Japanese fast battleships of the Kongo class. The original Vickers guns were later supplemented and replaced by the 41st Year Type. The ships of this class served in many operations of the Second World War in the Pacific.
Separate the barrels from the gate, clean them up and seat them in the cleaned-out holes of the turrets. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Treat the metal with a base coat (primer) before painting.
This is an add-on detail set, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
