Aber 1:350 – turned barrels for a Japanese destroyer of the Akizuki class is a detail set of turned metal naval gun barrels for refining a model of a Japanese destroyer in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains turned metal naval gun barrels intended to replace the plastic parts on a model of a Japanese destroyer of the Akizuki class in 1:350 scale. It is not a model of a ship but an accessory to a kit you already own. It is made by the Polish company Aber, a specialist in turned and photo-etched metal details.
The destroyers of the Akizuki class were Japanese vessels of the Second World War built primarily as the anti-aircraft protection of formations. Their main armament consisted of quick-firing guns in twin turrets.
Cut the turned barrels off the leftover stub, clean them up and fit them in place of the plastic parts. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for gluing. Degrease the metal before painting and lay down a primer.
This is a supplementary turned set, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
