Aber 1:350 - ten 37 mm barrels for the German Flak 42 with shields is a detail set of turned metal anti-aircraft gun barrels with shields for ship models in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds ten turned metal barrels for 37 mm anti-aircraft guns (the Flak 42) together with their shields, meant to replace the plastic parts on models of German ships in 1:350 scale. It is not a ship model but an accessory for a kit you already own. The manufacturer is the Polish company Aber, a specialist in turned and photo-etched metal details.
The 37 mm automatic anti-aircraft gun (the Flak 42) rounded out both the heavier and the lighter anti-aircraft armament on the decks of German ships. The shields protected the crew and are a characteristic feature of these mountings.
Cut the turned barrels off the leftover stub, clean them up and fit them together with the shields in place of the plastic parts. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal and apply a primer before painting.
This is an add-on turned-metal set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
