ORP Mazur wz.39 is a plastic kit of the Polish gunnery training ship in 1:400 scale from Mirage Hobby.
Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish gunnery training ship in her 1939 configuration in 1:400 scale. The box contains parts for the full hull, the superstructures, the deck guns and the boats, a small stand for display and decal sheets.
Mazur was originally a German destroyer of the First World War period, which passed to the Polish Navy after 1920 and was rebuilt as a gunnery training ship for training gun crews. At the start of the Second World War, in the first days of September 1939, she became one of the first victims of a German air attack at Gdynia. The ship is therefore among the symbols of the Polish defensive war.
The hull can be built complete on the small stand, or sanded down to the waterline. Glue the small parts of the gun armament and the superstructures with liquid cement for plastic. For even gray shades of interwar Polish camouflage we recommend an airbrush and masking. Separate photo-etched accessories will improve the fine railings, fittings and antennas, and a wash and a dry brush will complete the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
