Injection-molded plastic kit of a small Project 1241.8 missile boat in 1:400 scale from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and decals are part of the box. It is the upgraded version of the fast boat, armed with Uran anti-ship missiles.
Project 1241 is a family of Soviet and Russian small missile boats. The version designated 1241.8 carries Uran anti-ship guided missiles, which replaced the older types of missile and raised the boat's combat value against surface targets. These fast and heavily armed units are built for operations in coastal waters and serve with the Russian Navy and with export users.
Cut the small parts of the superstructures and the missile canisters off carefully with a sharp knife. The hull can be built complete or as a waterline model on a small stand. We recommend naval gray with an airbrush, a dark wash in the detail of the decks and superstructures and a matte coat at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
