A finished model of the Skoda car nicknamed Uzovka in the period shade Zelena Ostra, with the year 1977 given, in 1:43 scale and from the birthday range of the Abrex brand. The model arrives completely assembled and painted; it is not a kit, so you need neither glue, paints nor tools. The exact make-up of the package is given on the packaging.
Uzovka, meaning grass snake, is the established nickname for the Skoda 105 and 120 series, which followed on from the 100 series and became the most common passenger car in Czechoslovakia. It kept the conception with the engine mounted at the rear and drive to the rear wheels, but it was given a new body with more upright pillars, a larger glazed area and a differently resolved front and rear end. The year 1977 belongs to the early production years of the series. The car is a sought-after classic today, because it has survived in many color releases - and color is precisely the main thing that distinguishes the individual variants on collector's models.
Of the whole range of shades, Zelena Ostra is the most conspicuous and in a display case it works as a striking accent. It does, however, want even, rather neutral light - sharp spotlights create white reflections on the curved surfaces that visually break up the shape of the car. Do not display the model in direct sunlight and remove dust from it with a dry soft brush, or with a stream of air. Wiping with a cloth, let alone a moistened one, can damage the printing of the frames and the lettering. The model has fine protruding parts, so handle it by the body and carry it with both hands.
The model is finished and painted, it is not intended for building.
