Quinta Studio 1:48 F4F-4 Wildcat: a 3D-printed colored interior on decal paper is an accessory for the cockpit of a model of the American carrier fighter of the early war in the Pacific.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Quinta Studio brand is intended for working up the cockpit of a model of the F4F-4 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor plastic parts: the interior features are printed in relief, are already painted and are carried on decal paper, as the name states. The cockpit of the Wildcat is broken up and a great deal of detail comes together in it on a small area, so finished color and three-dimensional relief save a considerable share of the hand work here.
The Grumman F4F Wildcat was a carrier fighter of the US Navy and Marine Corps that bore the main weight of the fighting in the first year of the war in the Pacific. The F4F-4 version received folding wings so that more of them would fit on deck, and heavier machine gun armament. Wildcats flew at Midway and over Guadalcanal, and their hand-cranked landing gear, which the pilot wrestled with right after takeoff, was famous too. The stubby fuselage and the high-set cockpit are typical of the type.
Go by the manufacturer's instructions, which describe the correct procedure for transferring the features onto the plastic. Before you start, check the seating of the cockpit in the fuselage dry.
