The collector's model captures the competition Skoda 200 RS in the release from the Rallye Skoda 1975 with start number 2 and the crew Sedivy and Janecek. The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted; it is neither built nor glued. The 1:43 scale is the standard with collector's car models and it makes it possible to put a whole competition season alongside each other.
The Skoda 200 RS was a competition special of the Mlada Boleslav carmaker, which arose in the middle of the nineteen-seventies as the development successor of the successful 110 R coupe in competition use. The car kept the conception with the engine mounted at the rear and drive to the rear axle, but it was given an entirely new top engine with a displacement close to two liters and a valve train with twin overhead camshafts. Only a few cars were made, homologation into a higher competition group ultimately did not come about and the machine therefore started mainly in domestic events, where it was among the fastest cars of the starting field. To this day it is considered one of the technically most interesting Czech competition specials.
The model is intended for a display case, not for play. A competition release lives off its lettering and start numbers, so display it out of direct sunlight so that the printing and the colors do not fade. Remove the dust with a soft brush, never with a cloth over sharp edges and lettering. Do not wash the model with water or clean it with solvents. In a collection it goes well with other releases of the same car from different events and seasons, where the start numbers and the crews differ.
