This is a finished collector model, not a kit. Out of the box it comes assembled, painted and provided with markings, so it is enough to stand it in a display case. The 1:43 scale is the classic collector format for passenger cars, in which a comparable line of Czechoslovak and Czech production can be put together. The color rendering carries the name Bila Ledova, that is a light white shade of the body.
The Skoda Garde is a two-door coupe derived from the then line of Skoda 105 and 120 passenger cars. It keeps their layout with the engine at the rear and drive to the rear wheels, but the body is lower, with a lowered roof and a differently resolved rear end. The car was built in the first half of the 1980s in Czechoslovakia and is among the shapes of domestic production of that time sought after by collectors.
The model is sensitive to dust and to direct sun, which over time changes the shade of the finish as well as the transparency of the glazing. It looks best in a closed display case or under a cover. Remove dust with a soft brush, not with a cloth, which can leave fine scratches on the glossy finish. Do not use solvents, cleaners or polishes for models, as they could wipe the fine printing and badges away. The model is not supplied as something to be assembled, so any intervention in its construction is always at your own risk.
