A finished collector model from the Abrex brand in 1:43 scale. It is a painted metal (die-cast) model, not a kit. It represents the Czechoslovak sports coupe Skoda Rapid 136 of 1987 in the black form. The model arrives assembled and ready to go straight into a display case.
The Skoda Rapid was the sportier two-door version derived from the Skoda 105 and 120 model range, with a rear-mounted engine. The Rapid 136 was one of the more powerful variants of this range and became a popular coupe of the late socialist era as well as a sought-after classic. Clean angular lines of the 1980s are characteristic of it.
The model is made largely of metal with plastic details, and has glazing, a well-worked interior and printed markings. The black finish brings out the body lines of the real car. As a collector piece it is not meant to be taken apart or reworked, and we recommend protecting it from dust and direct sunlight.
