A decal sheet in 1:48 scale for models of the German fighter aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 190, carried under the designation Wulf Pack vol.2.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is a German single-seat fighter aircraft of the Second World War and, alongside the Messerschmitt Bf 109, it formed the backbone of the German fighter arm. It was committed to action on the Eastern as well as the Western Front, in the fighter as well as the attack role, and it went through a series of versions that differ from one another in the nose, the armament and the shape of the canopy. That is precisely why the choice of markings decides the final look of a model almost as much as the quality of the build: a production machine without fuselage codes and insignia looks unfinished.
It is a separate decal sheet for 1:48 scale, that is an accessory to a kit. The collection is carried under the designation Wulf Pack vol.2, that is as the second part of a series devoted to Fw 190 aircraft. Which particular machines the sheet covers, what designations, insignia and lettering it carries and how many options you can build from it are given in the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas a waterslide decal that has not been soaked can be soaked later. With an ordinary waterslide sheet, cut the element out close to the artwork, immerse it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest on the paper until the film begins to slide. The surface should be glossy; over matte paint a silvery veil forms under the film. Slide the element into place, draw the surplus water off from the center toward the edges and pull it into the engraving with a softener. Finally unify the finished work with a sealing varnish.
A decal sheet is supplied. The kit, paints, varnishes and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
