Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale holds the airbrakes for a model of the American carrier-based Douglas A-4F Skyhawk combat aircraft. It is not an aircraft kit on its own but a set of fine photo-etched parts with which the airbrake panels can be shown extended, with a faithful inner structure. Eduard is a Czech maker and a leading brand of photo-etched accessories.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American light carrier-based attack aircraft, in service from the 1950s for a number of decades. The A-4F version was among the more advanced variants, with its characteristic dorsal hump for avionics. The Skyhawk was prized for its agility and its simple construction.
The photo-etched airbrake panels are separated with a sharp knife, and the individual layers are stacked and bonded with super glue or epoxy. Showing the airbrakes extended brings a model to life on display. Degrease the parts before painting and apply a primer.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a complete model. It requires the matching plastic kit; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
