This set from the Czech maker HGW brings realistic cockpit seat belts for models of the American four-engine B-17 Flying Fortress bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory for the interior.
The set combines printed belts that faithfully imitate fabric with fine etched buckles. The straps are laser pre-cut and pliable, so that they can be set into natural folds on the seats of the pilot and the copilot.
The parts are glued with cyanoacrylate. Work the strap between your fingers, thread it through an etched buckle and set it in place. Textile belts take toning with filters and ordinary non-aggressive products.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
