This set brings the complete technical stenciling for models of the British vertical take-off attack aircraft BAe Harrier GR.7 and GR.9 in 1:48 scale. These are the small service, warning and maintenance markings that complete the main national insignia on the surface of the aircraft. The decals are printed on a thin carrier film with accurate color registration.
The Harrier GR.7 and the later GR.9 were modernized British versions of the attack aircraft derived from the Harrier II. They served with the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy in close support of ground forces. The real aircraft carried dense technical markings around the access panels, the fuel fillers, the weapon pylons and the engine intakes.
Apply the stenciling over a smooth gloss finish, ideally over a coat of clear gloss varnish. Using a decal softener and fixer will help the small markings adhere to the surface and to the engraved lines. Once dry, overcoat the surface with a matte or satin varnish to suit the look you want.
This is a separate decal set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
