The decal sheet 1:48 Bf 110 D with the FuG 202 radar from the manufacturer OWL with the markings of one particular night machine, the Messerschmitt Bf 110 of the D version. It is an accessory for building a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer OWL, devoted to one particular Messerschmitt Bf 110 aircraft of the D version equipped with the FuG 202 airborne radar. The name specifies the machine by its fuselage code, its unit and the pilot's name, so these are targeted markings for one single machine.
The Bf 110 was a twin-engine two-seat heavy fighter aircraft which in the course of its service was reoriented toward night fighting. The FuG 202 radar was among the first airborne systems used on these machines and you will recognize it by the sizeable aerial array on the nose, which fundamentally changes the silhouette of a model. The D version differs from the early machines in modifications to the airframe and the equipment.
The aerial array on the nose gets in the way during the work, so glue it on only after the decals have been applied, or leave yourself free access to it. Polish the surface with gloss varnish and cut the markings out as closely as possible. Around the engine nacelles and the wing fairings settle a decal with a softener part by part and pierce any bubbles with the tip of a scalpel. A final layer of matte varnish will unify the gloss before the weathering of the exhaust stains.
This is not a kit but a decal sheet. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
