A photo-etched detail set for the destroyer JMSDF Atago DDG-177 in 1:350 scale from Tetra Model Works. A collection of photo-etched parts for sharpening up the Trumpeter Atago kit; it is not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set from Tetra Model Works holds photo-etched parts with which you lift the detail of a plastic kit of the destroyer Atago in 1:350 scale. It typically replaces railings, ladders, radar screens, platforms and other fine elements that cannot be molded faithfully in plastic. The parts are designed for the Trumpeter kit of the destroyer Atago.
The Atago DDG-177 is a Japanese guided-missile destroyer fitted with the Aegis combat system, serving in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). It is among the large escort ships with powerful radars and an air defense system.
Separate the photo-etched parts, shape them along the bends and glue them on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work from the large platforms toward the fine railings. Degrease the surfaces and apply a primer before painting. The set is meant for experienced ship modelers.
This is an accessory (a detail set), not a model. The base Trumpeter kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
