Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded kit of the German Bücker Bü-181 Bestmann trainer and liaison aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Stransky. The box contains plastic parts and a decal sheet; it is a classic airplane model in the version without armament, that is the training and liaison machine.
The Bü-181 Bestmann was a simple two-seat low-wing monoplane that appeared at the end of the 1930s as a basic trainer. Thanks to its reliability and undemanding operation it spread as a training, liaison and courier machine at a number of flying schools, and after the war it was built under license in other countries as well, where it flew long after 1945. This version captures the typical unarmed Bestmann trainer.
Glue the kit with a thin plastic cement and clean the smaller parts carefully of their sprue nubs. Mask the roomy canopy glazing and prime the model before painting; apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. Trainers often carry striking yellow elements and conspicuous fuselage markings, so watch for even coverage and for cleanly settled decals, which a softener will help with.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
