The decal sheet 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 109 of the A family from HAD models, with five finish variants of the early machines of this fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models covers the early machines of the Bf 109 A family, that is the prototype and pre-production aircraft, among them the example designated V3. It offers five finish variants. It is a decal sheet in its own right meant for finishing a model in 1:48 scale, not a kit.
The early Messerschmitt Bf 109s differed markedly from the later production versions. They had a lower-powered engine, simpler armament, a different shape of canopy and exhausts, and they carried less usual markings, because these were test and pre-production examples. It is precisely these details that make them a rewarding subject for modelers who want to show the line of development of the type from the first machines to the later versions.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat. Cut the design out, dip it in lukewarm water and once it has rested slide it onto the model. Soak the surplus water up, smooth the film down and let it dry completely. On the early machines the fuselage surfaces tend to be smooth, so a decal settles easily, and at the canopy and the wing root a softener helps. Finally unify the surface with matte varnish.
The product is a decal sheet. The model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
