Bristol Beaufighter IF and VIF, Part V 1:48 is an AML decal sheet with markings for the night versions of the Bristol Beaufighter heavy fighter for models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fifth part of this series of decals in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker AML continues with the markings of the night fighter versions Bristol Beaufighter Mk.IF and Mk.VIF. The set brings the markings of particular RAF machines fitted with the AI Mk.IV radar, including aircraft flown by Allied crews. AML is a Czech maker with accurate registration and a thin film.
In its Mk.IF and Mk.VIF versions the Beaufighter served as a powerful night fighter with heavy armament and an airborne radar whose aerials are recognizable on the nose. Among the crews were men of Allied nations. The set captures code letters, serial numbers and RAF national insignia for the night camouflage of the period.
Go over the base with gloss varnish, release the decal in warm water, place it and squeeze the remaining water out with a cloth; a softener helps with the detail. Finally, even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss coat.
This is an add-on decal sheet. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
