AML decals 1:48 for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 B-2 with two camouflage schemes. A sheet for the early version of the famous fighter with the Jumo engine, a subject that collections often lack.

A decal sheet from the Czech manufacturer AML in 1:48 scale for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 B-2, one of the first production versions of the famous fighter. The early Bertas were powered by the Junkers Jumo 210 engine and differed from the later versions in their two-blade propeller and light machine gun armament. The sheet offers markings for two camouflage schemes, so you can choose between two faces of one of the most interesting periods in the development of the type.
While everyone knows the later Bf 109 versions, the early Jumo versions are rare on display tables, and yet it was on them that the design which then served throughout the war took shape. A model of an early Berta is therefore a welcome change in any Messerschmitt collection and makes an excellent comparison beside the later Emils or Friedrichs.
Before applying them, work out from the documentation which of the two schemes you will build, as decals cannot be applied on trial. Coat the base with gloss, settle the subjects in a drop of water and bring them into position with a brush. Let the decal softener work without touching, and once dry seal the surface with varnish and add fine weathering to match prewar or early wartime service.
A modeling accessory; the sheet does not contain the aircraft kit, paints or glue.
