Eduard Big Ed 1:48 B-24J Liberator PART I is a collection of photo-etched parts and masks for a detailed build of a model of the American heavy bomber. It is a set of accessories, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Big Ed set from the Czech maker Eduard brings the first part of the accessories for the plastic model of the Consolidated B-24J Liberator in 1:48 scale together into a single box. It is not an aircraft kit but a collection of details. The box contains pre-painted photo-etched parts for the cockpit and the engines, pre-painted photo-etched parts for the interior of the nose and the radio compartment, steel seat belts and self-adhesive masking film.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American four-engined heavy bomber of the Second World War, built in greater numbers than any other American bomber. The B-24J version was one of the most widely built and was used in Europe as well as in the Pacific for daylight strategic raids.
The pre-painted photo-etched parts are printed in advance and replace the plastic parts of the instrument panel and the interior. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate. The PART I designation indicates that this is the first of a series of accessory sets for this model.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
