AML decals 1:48 Red Devils with Rockets — part II — the second part of the Czech decal line devoted to Soviet aircraft with rocket armament, in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of the decal line from the Czech manufacturer AML called Red Devils with Rockets, devoted to Soviet aircraft armed with unguided rockets, in 1:48 scale. The set offers markings of aircraft from the Eastern Front and is a suitable accessory for modelers who want to give their model a less usual, historically interesting scheme.
The Soviet Air Force was among the pioneers of rocket armament: it used the unguided RS-82 and RS-132 rockets in combat as early as the end of the 1930s, and during the Great Patriotic War they became standard armament for fighters and ground attack aircraft alike. A salvo of rockets was effective against ground targets and against bomber formations, and aircraft with rocket rails under the wings are among the characteristic images of the Eastern Front.
Transfer the smaller subjects, the tactical numbers and the emblems, with the tip of a soft brush, never with a finger. For precise settling, help yourself with a drop of water with a wetting agent directly on the model, and the decal can then be slid into place easily. Once dry, wipe the surplus setting solution off with a damp cloth and coat the whole over.
This is a stand-alone decal set; the kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
