A pack of accessories for a plastic model of the F-35B combat airplane in 1:48 scale. The BIG ED range works as a combined assembly: Eduard puts into one package several sets that it otherwise sells separately. So it is not an airplane model but a collection of accessories for building one.
Typically, photo-etched parts for the cockpit and the exterior meet a masking set for the glazing and the wheels in BIG ED packs. The composition of the particular package is printed on the packaging, and each individual set has its own instructions. Anyone building a model in detail gets in one purchase most of what Eduard offers for it.
The F-35B is the variant of the F-35 combat airplane intended for short takeoff and vertical landing. It differs from the other versions in the lift fan behind the cockpit and the swiveling engine nozzle, thanks to which it can operate from short surfaces and from the deck of smaller ships. The arrangement of the propulsion is also the reason why this version has different covers and openings on the upper fuselage than the land-based and carrier versions.
This is a collection of accessories for a kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
