Injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engine Bristol Buckingham in the C.Mk.I version in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. This short-run model combines injection-molded plastic parts with resin and photo-etched parts and contains decals for two marking variants.
The Bristol Buckingham was a British twin-engine aircraft with Centaurus radial engines. The C.Mk.I version was a transport conversion in which the armament was removed and seats and windows were added in the fuselage for carrying passengers. Despite its high speed it was used only to a limited extent because of its small capacity.
With a short-run model, count on careful cleaning up and adjusting the fit of the parts. Finish the interior before closing the fuselage up. Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, and glue the resin and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. For an even finish, an airbrush and a base primer are the right tools.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
