Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks of kabuki tape for the model of the Brewster F2A Buffalo fighter type in 1:48 scale. The masks make clean spraying of the frames of the glazed cabin and of the wheel discs easier, without laborious cutting. It is not a kit: it is an accessory used while painting a finished or part-built model.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo is an American fighter of the beginning of the Second World War with a radial engine and a stubby fuselage. It did not prove itself well with the US Navy, but in Finnish service it did unexpectedly well. It is among the characteristic machines of the early part of the war.
The pre-cut self-adhesive kabuki masks are stuck onto the cabin glazing and the wheel discs, pressed into the engraved frame lines with a pointed stick and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried, the tape is lifted off and the framing stays clean and sharp. An airbrush gives an even coat; the masks can also be used for two-color camouflage masking.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package and are obtained separately.
