An aftermarket detail set in resin, not a standalone kit. This set from the manufacturer LP Models adds to models of the de Havilland Sea Vixen FAW.2 in 1:48 scale a faithfully rendered boarding ladder to the pilot's cockpit, which production kits as a rule do not contain.
A fitted ladder brings a model built as a parked machine to life, and the whole diorama scene with it, and it hints at the scale against the figures. The resin version captures the fine rungs and the frame, which would be difficult to cast in plastic.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent residue. Release the thin rungs from the casting blocks carefully with a sharp knife; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Hook the ladder onto the matching place by the cockpit according to the documentation for the real subject.
