This detail set from Aires in 1:48 scale extends a plastic model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-3 fighter. It combines resin parts, as a rule rounded off with photo-etched details, and serves to replace or refine selected areas of a model. It is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-3 is a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by the air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine, which gave the aircraft ruggedness and good performance at low and medium altitude. The A-3 version was among the early production machines of the A series and became a feared opponent of Allied fighters.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit with your particular model before installing it; the individual parts are seated before the fuselage and the wings are closed.
