A resin accessory set in 1:48 scale for experienced modelers. It holds a pair of cast figures, a pilot and an operator of the German Luftwaffe, together with seats for the two-seat Me-262B-1A/U1 version. The set is meant to bring the cockpit and its surroundings of a particular kit to life; it is not an aircraft model in its own right.
The Messerschmitt Me-262 was the first jet fighter to enter operational service. The two-seat B-1a/U1 night fighter version carried a radar and a second crew member, the operator, who worked the search equipment. The set captures the pilot and the operator in period flight suits matching the late stage of the Second World War.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the skin and the details of the flight suits stand out with shading and a dry brush. Assemble the seats so that they fit into the interior of your base kit.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, cast in resin. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
