This injection-molded kit captures the German L1500A light truck in the 4x4 form. The model in 1:72 scale usually comes with photo-etched parts, resin parts (for example off-road tires), clear parts and decals. It is a short-run mold, which calls for more careful preparation of the parts.
The L1500 was a standardized light truck of the 1.5 ton class used by the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. It was built in two basic versions, as a 4x4 designated L1500A and as a 4x2 designated L1500S. The off-road L1500A served above all as an infantry carrier and a light transport vehicle and was built between 1941 and 1943.
Separate the small parts carefully and clean them up; with a short-run mold expect to remove flash. Finish and paint the frame, the chassis and the interior of the cab before closing the body. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and use liquid modeling cement on the plastic. A primer, an airbrush and final mud and dust effects using washes and pigments are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
