FLY 1:48 Grunau Baby IIb Brasil is a kit of the classic training glider in Brazilian markings, with two decal options.
Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the legendary German Grunau Baby IIb training glider, in 1:48 scale, in a version with Brazilian decal schemes. FLY is a Czech maker of short-run models. The package makes it possible to build a static model of this widespread unpowered glider.
The Grunau Baby was a single-seat school and training glider designed in Germany in the 1930s. Thanks to its simple and durable wooden construction covered in fabric and its forgiving flying qualities, it became one of the most widespread gliders of its time and was used in many countries. As an unpowered machine it served above all for the basic training of glider pilots.
With the thin parts of a glider and with the struts, take care over careful cleaning up and precise fit. Use thin cement for plastic and fine sanding. The large wings benefit from an even coat sprayed with an airbrush and from a good primer. Mask the cockpit glazing and paint the interior before closing the fuselage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
