A more comprehensive detail set for the British Hawker Hunter FGA.9 jet aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. It is a resin accessory that replaces and completes selected parts of a plastic kit with finely detailed parts and markedly raises the fidelity of the finished model.
The Hawker Hunter was a single-seat British jet fighter of the 1950s, powered by a Rolls-Royce Avon engine. The FGA.9 version was the ground-attack adaptation meant for strikes against ground targets and became one of the most widespread combat variants of this elegant aircraft.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection while sanding. The details come into their own once painted and gently picked out with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
