A detail set of the wing gun bays for the Junkers Ju 87D dive bomber in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Aires. The resin accessory makes it possible to show the open bays with the weapons and their installation realistically, which a plastic kit as a rule handles only in a simplified way.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber of the Second World War, famous for its fixed landing gear and its characteristic inverted gull wing. The D version was a later, more powerful form with a revised fuselage and armament.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The gun bays come into their own once painted, with the edges picked out by a dry brush and a gentle wash that underlines the inner structure and the installation.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
