1:48 Lockheed F-94C is a Dead Design masking set for the frames of the canopy glazing. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the canopy glazing of a model in 1:48 scale. The set is applied to the clear parts, the frames are sprayed over it and it is peeled off once the paint has dried. The result is a sharp transition with no overruns and no touching up with a brush afterwards. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for the painting stage.
The Lockheed F-94C was an American two-seat all-weather interceptor of the early 1950s, derived from the trainer and fighter line around the T-33 and the F-80. Against the older F-94 versions it had a reworked fuselage, a more powerful engine with afterburning and a different arrangement of armament. A two-seat cockpit means a longer canopy with more frames, so masking takes considerably longer than on a single-seat fighter.
Canopy frames can in theory be handled with a decal, but a decal lies on the surface, breaks on a curve and leaves the carrier film visible in the transition between glass and frame. A sprayed frame is part of the surface, sits even across a convex area and takes a matte or satin varnish just like the rest of the model. On a two-seat cockpit that difference is multiplied, because there are many frames and an inconsistent sheen would be obvious at first glance.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
