The M1A2 Abrams is an American main battle tank, which follows on from the older versions of the M1 line. It is powered by a gas turbine and the main weapon is a gun of 120 mm caliber. Wash the castings in warm water with detergent first, in order to remove the mold release. Without that neither paint nor glue holds properly. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc; never snap them. When sanding, work wet and with protection for your breathing, as resin dust is not to be inhaled. They are glued with cyanoacrylate, ideally the gel version, which gives time for seating. Always try a part dry in its bed first and only then modify the plastic. Before painting, lay on a primer; on smooth resin the coat comes away easily otherwise.
