The Mi-24V in Hungarian service from 2018 in 1:48 scale is a decal set from HAD models capturing the present-day form of the Hungarian attack helicopters after their return to service.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a helicopter model: the markings of Hungarian attack Mi-24Vs in the form in which they have served since 2018, that is, after the machines returned to active service following overhauls.
The attack Mi-24 combines heavy armament with a transport cabin for a squad and is among the most characteristic helicopters there are. After years in storage the Hungarian Air Force had its Mi-24Vs overhauled and has flown them actively again since 2018; the machines returned in a new gray coloring matching NATO standards. A model of a present-day Hungarian Mi-24 is thus an attractive combination of classic Soviet-designed equipment and a modern look.
Spray the model with an airbrush and overcoat it with gloss clear before applying the decals. Bed the individual motifs with a soft brush and use a softener on the riveting and the seams. Once dry, fix the decals and unify the surface with a semi-matte or matte clear coat. On a well maintained present-day machine choose only discreet weathering: a darker wash in the seams and light traces of service around the exhausts.
This is a decal accessory: the helicopter model itself is not included in the package.
