An Allied pilot in the Middle East with a dog (1:48, Aerobonus) is a resin figure for bringing aviation dioramas of the Second World War to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure for experienced modelers shows an Allied airman from the Middle East and the Mediterranean in the time of the Second World War, accompanied by a dog. The set serves to bring a diorama or a display case beside aircraft models in 1:48 scale to life. The figure is made by the Aerobonus brand (the Aires range).
Allied airmen serving in North Africa and the Mediterranean wore lightweight tropical gear. Dogs and other animals served as squadron mascots and are a rewarding element of a scene, one that gives a diorama a human dimension and a story.
First wash the parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Applying a primer and painting with an airbrush or a brush with additional shading and highlighting of the details is recommended.
It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
