Big Ed is a package in which the Czech maker Eduard brings together several separate refining sets for one model, here for the MiG-23 fighter in 1:48 scale. It puts the interior, the exterior and the masks into one box. It is not an aircraft kit but a collection of accessories for the base plastic model.
The MiG-23, Flogger in the NATO code, is a Soviet single-engine fighter with a variable-sweep wing. It came about as a fast interceptor and frontline fighter and was widely used by the Soviet Air Force and by friendly countries. The cockpit and the landing gear bays offer plenty of details that can be brought out in photo-etch.
Glue the colored photo-etch for the cabin with super glue and fit the exterior parts once the surface has been cleaned up. The masking film makes painting the cabin and the wheels easier. Follow the enclosed instructions and degrease the photo-etch before painting.
This is a collection of refining accessories, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
