A photo-etched detail set MiG-23BN – armament in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model of an airplane but a set of photo-etched parts for sharpening the pylons and the armament elements of the MiG-23BN fighter-bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed photo-etched set from Eduard aimed at the armament and external stores of the plastic model of the MiG-23BN fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory. The set usually brings fine parts for the pylons, the racks and the attachment fittings of bombs and rockets, which give the external stores a faithful and fine look.
The MiG-23BN was a Soviet fighter-bomber with a variable-geometry wing, derived from the MiG-23 fighter line. It served as a strike aircraft for attacks on ground targets and was widely exported to a number of friendly countries. It was marked by a tough structure and a wide choice of carried armament.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and shape them in a photo-etch bending tool. They are glued with super glue. It is worth painting the small mounting elements before they go onto the model; metal holds paint better once a primer has been laid on.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
