Mil Mi-24V – technical stencils in Russian and English 1:48 is an Eduard decal sheet with servicing markings in two language options. It completes a finished model; it is not a kit.

The set contains printed decals with small technical markings in two language versions, Russian and English. A modeler can thus choose the option according to which machine and which operator is being built. It is made by the Czech company Eduard in 1:48 scale. The package contains only the decal sheet; the kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
The Mi-24V is the attack variant of a heavy combat helicopter that combines armament on stub wings with room for a small assault party. It is typified by an armored tandem cockpit with two canopies, a massive fuselage and retractable landing gear. The type was exported to a large number of countries and two different practices of technical lettering came together in service: machines in their original form carried the stencils in Russian, while aircraft that were upgraded or delivered to Western standards received English lettering. The set therefore covers both possibilities.
First decide which language set you will use and leave the other untouched in reserve. The surface has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise air will be caught under the small motifs. Cut them out one at a time, soak them briefly in lukewarm water and transfer them with tweezers or a damp brush. On bulges, engine covers and transitions use a decal softener and push the water out from the center outwards. Work section by section along the fuselage and keep checking the documentation. A final matte clear coat evens out the surface and hides the edges of the film.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
