An Eduard cockpit set for a model of the North American F-6D or F-6K photo-reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale. A replacement for the cabin from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-6D and F-6K are photo-reconnaissance versions of the American North American P-51 Mustang fighter in the late D and K versions. The machines kept the armament and the look of a fighter, but in addition received photographic equipment in the rear fuselage and flew missions in which the terrain and targets were photographed both before and after an attack. That is precisely why they differ from ordinary Mustangs only in details that are worth attention on a model.
A replacement cabin for an F-6D or F-6K model in 1:48 scale. A cockpit set replaces the area the modeler has most in view once the build is done and brings finer detail than injection-molded plastic can manage. The list of parts, the modifications needed to the fuselage and the kit the set is prepared for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so they are attached with super glue. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts and test dry whether the cabin seats into the fuselage, while sanding is still possible. Paint before the fuselage is closed up, as a brush will not reach inside afterwards, and consider a muted highlighting of the edges so that detail deep in the cabin does not disappear.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
