Laser-cut fabric seat belts in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker HGW, intended for models of the American P-51 Mustang fighter. This is not a model but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The belts are printed on a fine microfabric that behaves like real cloth and, combined with photo-etched buckles, faithfully reproduce the safety belts of the day.
The fabric can be shaped naturally and drapes over the seat more realistically than plastic. Take the belts out of the sheet, remove the carrier layer and thread them through the photo-etched buckles; they are fixed with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The material stands up to ordinary non-aggressive modeling products, so it will take light weathering and highlighting.
This is a detail accessory for the cockpit, not a model. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
