This is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory. It is a resin set in 1:48 scale showing the power unit of the Panavia Tornado aircraft. The cast parts make it possible to present the engine removed or exposed and thereby to complete a maintenance scene.
The Panavia Tornado was a twin-engine multirole combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in international European cooperation. A detailed engine suits dioramas with the covers of the power unit open or stands as an exhibit of its own beside the model. The set is intended for models of the Tornado in this scale.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Spray the engine over with a primer, and fine-tune the metallic shades with metallic finishes and washes.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
