The PLAB-250-120 is a Soviet anti-submarine aerial bomb of roughly the 250 kilogram weight class. It was part of the armament of naval patrol and anti-submarine aircraft and helicopters, where it served to attack submarines. Its shape is adapted to being dropped and to acting against underwater targets.
It is a resin set for experienced modelers. First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. The set does not contain an aircraft model or its pylons; it is an accessory for arming a finished model. The bodies of the bombs come out best with a dark blue or gray base according to the naval scheme; bring out the lugs and the fins with a fine patina.
