A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the SX-Art brand for creating British type B national roundels in 1:48 scale. These are not decals nor a kit - they are precisely cut stencils that you stick onto the model and spray over with paint. The marking thus becomes part of the painted surface and there is no risk of it peeling off or yellowing as a decal can.
The type B roundel is two-colored - it consists of a blue outer circle and a red center, with no white and no yellow rings. In the Second World War it was used above all on the upper surfaces of the wings of British aircraft, where the less conspicuous version reduced the visibility of the machine from above.
For modelers who want faithful and durable RAF national markings and prefer spraying to decals. The set is cut for the given scale; check the number and the dimensions of the roundels in the package against your own project.
