The 1:48 Reggiane Re.2005 painting mask from SX-Art allows clean spraying of the canopy frames of the Italian Second World War fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from SX-Art for a model of the Italian Reggiane Re.2005 Sagittario fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks follow the shape of the canopy frames exactly and help create sharp transitions without laborious brush work by hand.
The Reggiane Re.2005 Sagittario was an Italian single-seat fighter of the end of the Second World War, powered by an inverted V12 engine and regarded as one of the most elegant and best-performing Italian fighter types of its day. Only a small number were built, which makes it all the more attractive to modelers.
Transfer the mask with tweezers onto degreased and ideally varnished glazing, press the edges down and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. Usually the color of the inner frame goes on first, then the covering shade. Once the paint is touch-dry, leave it and peel the mask off while it is still fresh, so that the edge stays sharp.
The mask holds no paint and no model; it is an accessory to a plastic kit.
