An aftermarket set of waterslide decals from the Swedish brand Pilot Replicas, the following part of the Tunnan series. It offers further historically documented schemes and markings for the J 29 E and J 29 F versions. The decals are professionally printed (Cartograf), with accurate registration and rich colors. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit.

The real subject

The SAAB J 29 Tunnan was the first Swedish jet fighter with a swept wing, nicknamed the flying barrel for its stubby fuselage. The J 29F version received an afterburner and could carry guided missiles, while later machines also served in the reconnaissance and training roles. The Tunnan was among the most important aircraft of the postwar Swedish Air Force.

Application

• Apply onto a smooth gloss coat for clean edges without silvering.
• Use a decal softener and a setting solution so that the decals settle onto shaped surfaces.
• Once dry, unify the surface by coating it to the degree of gloss you want.
